A Journey… focuses on the rich history of African-Americans by telling the stories of seven women, with Wilson becoming each of them through alteration of voice, physicality, the drape of a scarf or other accessory, as well as spirituals sung a cappella.

A Journey is a one-woman musical show that tells the stories of 7 different historical African-American women, such as Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, Rosa Parks, an African Queen, and more. Happening Saturday, February 19, 2022 with one showing at 2pm and another at 6pm EST. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for Stokes Arts Members, and $5 for student & youth ages 18 and under. Attendees receive the choice of Ice Cream or Specialty Coffee. Doors open 45 minutes prior to the show and only 75 tickets will be sold to each performance.
