Introduction to Crochet
Have you ever wanted to learn to crochet? Or perhaps you need a refresher? This class is a comprehensive beginner’s course that incorporates multiple skills into the creation of a tasselled scarf. There are eight hours of instruction and a class limit of six students, ensuring lots of side-by-side learning. We’ll start with foundational information about reading a pattern and swatching and will progress through the making of the actual project. We’ll end with a tutorial on tassel-making and a lesson on washing wool garments. Students will leave with the confidence to not only make additional scarfs on their own, but to feel empowered to begin exploring patterns and projects beyond this one.

A crochet hook, stitch markers, a yarn needle, and wool yarn are provided.
Color selections are cream, tan, and red.
