The Stokes County Arts Council is pleased to announce the opening of a “Forsyth Tech Community College Student Art Exhibition” in the Apple Gallery. A meet and greet is scheduled for Friday, February 23, 2024 from 6:00pm-7:30pm at the Stokes County Arts Council 500 Main Street Danbury, NC.

This exhibit includes approximately 50 original works including sculpture, drawing, paintings, and more. Artists in the exhibit are current students of Forsyth Tech’s Associate in Fine Arts-Visual Art program.

Dr. Cristy Lynn Brown, Program Coordinator of Fine Arts at Forsyth Technical Community College was the coordinator of this collaboration and exhibit and worked closely with our Visual Arts Chair. Professor Jason Lancaster, and AFA students from his Visual Art Portfolio course, matted and framed the work and installed the show.

This exhibit will be on display February 19-March 27, 2024, the Apple Gallery. The Stokes County Arts Council is open to the public Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, Saturday, 10:00a.m.-5:00p.m. and Sunday 12:00pm-5:00pm.
