The Stokes County Arts Council is pleased to announce the opening of its annual Spring Art Extravaganza, displaying work by the students of Stokes County Schools.
North Stokes, South Stokes, and West Stokes High School students will exhibit their original art in the Apple Gallery from March 30-May 15, 2024. Students from the elementary and middle schools of Stokes County will exhibit their original art in The Arts Place from March 30-April 12, 2024.
The official gallery opening/meet and greet for student artists will be Friday, April 12, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. -7:00 p.m. at The Arts Place, 500 N. Main Street. Family and friends are welcome to view their students’ artwork at this time or throughout the month.
The 2024 Arts Council Scholarship Recipients will be named and recognized during this event as well.
The exhibit includes a variety of original student artwork, including paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, and mixed media.
This exhibit will be on display March 30-May 15, 2024 in the Apple Gallery. The Stokes County Arts Council is open to the public Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, Saturday, 10:00a.m.-5:00p.m. and Sunday 12:00pm-5:00pm.
