Have you ever wondered the backstory and history of some of the historic structures that dot the landscape in Historic Downtown Danbury?

Do you know the history of the building on Main Street that is now The Arts Place of Stokes, or remember it as a General Store when locals would sit in the back with a glass bottle soda? Or the history behind the Old Danbury School and the echos of footsteps walking the halls? Oh, if only the walls could talk in the Historic Old Courthouse standing tall along main street, horse and buggy and old jalopies would line the front of the historic building on big court days, did all of the criminals make it out of the building unscathed?

New this year a walk around the Hanging Rock Bath House at night, a historic structure that was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps.
