The Stokes County Arts Council is proud to feature Shane Sargent in the Apple Gallery during the month of September. A virtual opening will be held in his honor on Friday, September 11, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. on the Stokes Arts Facebook page, coming to you live from the Apple Gallery. You may visit the exhibit other times at the Stokes County Arts Council, 500 N. Main Street, Danbury, North Carolina.
Shane’s passion for photography began with his love of traveling and capturing the places and things along the way from childhood to present. For the past 8 to 10 years, he has been working on his skills as a photographer gaining experiences and striving for uniqueness in a crowded field. Shane has worked with many local and regional businesses to produce photography to market their brands, especially through social media. In addition, Shane has had photography printed in a national magazine and featured on “Your Shot”, a National Geographic community page for photographers around the world. The majority of Shane’s work consists of nature landscapes and tourist attractions. He works quite often in the Smoky Mountains, where a good amount of attractions have and continue to work with him and use his photography.
Shane Sargent’s photography exhibit will be on display September 1 through September 30 in the Apple Gallery. The Stokes County Arts Council is open to the public Monday through Saturday, 10:00am-6:00pm and Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm.
