Stories of North Carolina ghosts and mysterious legends will rise above the sound of the nearby Dan River on Friday October 30, as the Stokes County Arts Council presents “October Ales and Tales” at The Green Heron Ale House, 1110 Flinchum Road in Danbury beginning at 7pm until 9pm.
The Hounds of Flatrock Storytelling Society will be the featured performers of the evening, taking the audience on a journey of ghostly tales of North Carolina haunts that at times may be a little scary, but also humorous. Along with the stories, attendees will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and have the opportunity to take advantage of drink specials provided by The Green Heron Ale House.
Advance tickets are $20 per person, $15 for Stokes Arts Members, with all tickets $20 at the door. Only
forty tickets the twenty remaining tickets will be sold, so advance tickets are highly encouraged.
