Christmas In Historic Danbury

The Stokes County Arts Council, the Stokes County Historical Society, the Town of Danbury, and Artist’s Way Creations invite you to an afternoon of nostalgic Christmas cheer in downtown North Main Street, Danbury.

There will be photos with Santa at Artist’s Way from 2-4pm, with proceeds supporting the Stokes Animal Shelter project. Also at Artists Way – gingerbread cookie decorating, and art activities for kids. Musical entertainment will be provided by Russell Sapp and Hunter Simpkins.
The Stokes County Historical Society will open the doors to the beautifully decorated museum (1854 Wilson Fulton House) with a special historical reading about Col. Jack and Nancy Shipp Martin, a long rifle display and discussion, and book sale and signing by Kyle A. Berrier, local author and historian.
The Town of Danbury will host the “Annual Christmas Even Celebration” with a tree lighting and candle lighting dedication beginning at 5pm.
