Slip on your dancing shoes, tip your glasses, and open up your wallets for a great cause on May 28 from 3 – 6:30 as Art Shine, a fundraiser for the Stokes County Arts Council, makes its way to Stokes County’s newest event destination Luna’s Trail Farm and Event Center located at 1155 Wilson Farm Road in Westfield. Proceeds from the event will support construction of Stokes Arts first multi-purpose arts venue The Arts Place of Stokes, currently underway.
Art Shine will be held at the Luna’s Trail Big Barn, a beautiful wood structure completed in 2015, which also includes an adjacent seven acre lake. In addition to enjoying fabulous views of the property and Sauratown and Blue Ridge Mountains, guests will experience plein air painting, pottery, woodworking, basket weaving and fiber arts demonstrations, music by Andrea Templon and Friends, beer/wine, heavy hors d’oeuvres by Chef Adam Andrews / Jeffrey Adams restaurant, and a live and silent auction, all for the cost of $50 per person. Ticket holders will also receive a $20 voucher for the live auction.
