The Stokes County Arts Council is pleased to announce the opening of our upcoming photography exhibit featuring Dan Whittaker in the Apple Gallery during the month of March. A virtual opening will be held on Friday, March 13, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. on the Stokes Arts Facebook page, coming to you live from the Apple Gallery. You may visit the exhibit throughout the month of March at the Stokes County Arts Council, 500 N. Main Street, Danbury, North Carolina.
Dan Whittaker is a degreed photojournalist, storm chaser, and wildlife photographer. He has spent time traveling around the world, following extreme weather while visiting unique ecosystems and landscapes. In this exhibit, Whittaker presents his photography which revolves around nature and the outdoors, including wildlife, landscapes, and storms. This exhibit will be on display from March 1 – March 31 in the Apple Gallery. The Stokes County Arts Council is open to the public Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am-6:00 pm and Sunday 1:00 pm-5:00 pm.
