Join Stokes Arts in welcoming artist Craig Richards to the Jayebird Gallery at the Hanging Rock State Park Visitors Center on Saturday, September 1st from 3-4:30 pm. Guests are also invited to join the artist for cocktails afterwards at the Green Heron Alehouse.

Craig has a deep love for the outdoors, spending much of his free time climbing, paddling and hiking. This love is reflected in the essence of his paintings and sculptures. His paintings are primarily in oils painted in Plein Air. His sculptures combine the feel of the natural world coupled with sparks of modern elements.

Craig studied art at Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ and received training from several master artists including Heiner Hertling, Louis Escobedo, Elienne Basa, Ralph James and John Budicin.

Craig lives in Winston-Salem, NC with his beautiful wife Amy and sweet dog Sugar.
